Who was in Sedona Saturday 6/11?

Hey! I saw lots of Jeeps running around town, one of my instructors saw a line of Jeeps on Soldier Pass, and then I caught a glimpse of Jeeps coming off of Cliffhanger as I breezed by on 89A in my truck. 'Fess up! Who was in town? :D

I was there, but not with a group. Was that hail storm a trip or what? It went from 89 degrees to 41 in less than 30 minutes. :eek: I also ran into this guy. A very beautiful snake. AZBackcountry was out there with a goup this weekend. They snake is wicked looking. Glad I've never come across one :eek:

Wow! That is the coolest pic this year! Where did you see him? It looks like a Western Rattlesnake (as opposed to Western Diamondback) who is about ready to shed (all the snakes are eating well this year--lots of rain = lots of food from the bottom of the food chain, up). I have never seen one with a solid black face--Thanks for the photos!

The snake was on Broken Arrow by the sink hole. I have seen alot of rattlers and never seen one like it. I was thinking it was a Mojave by the light mark running down its jawline and the purple tounge. I have never seen one with a black head though.
