My old roommate from training is back in town and she wanted to head up to Sedona to check out the shops and maybe get some time in the back country.

Anyone up for something on Wednesday?

Hmmm... depends on what people are looking to run. as long as I can do it, maybe that will work. I'll need to chat with my friend first though, can't blow her off to run somethign she may not want to do.

If you haven't run it yet, I highly recommend the Powerline Trail out in Superior. It may be too long a haul for you north siders, but it's real fun with fantastic scenery. Heck, even the highway trip through the hills outside Superior is amazing. The trail is about a 3.5 with a few obstacles that could make it a 4 or so, but those are optional. We ran it on Saturday and we had an open WJ on 31's and he only had minor trouble along an optional section which he could have gone around (but what fun is that?).

Unfortunately, I have to work, else I'd lead the way.

I am booked solid for the next 8 days, but if you want to run some Sedona trails, I would be happy to talk you through some maps--trails like Broken Arrow are fine to go by yourself, because you won't be by yourself--there will be 100 tour Jeeps out there with you! Plus, there are a lot of other pretty spots to check out, too. PM me if you want to hook-up.

Happy trails!
