Met up at Table Mesa at about 9 oclock. What a nice day for a run. The bugs were everywhere but the weather was nice.
The rigs that showed up were Eric...
Trying to reach for the sky, and sitting on his rear bumper...

Mr Marx himself, or Brian as he likes to be called...

Rachel... Nice to meet you by the way, it's always cool to watch a woman gettin' it on the rocks.
http://members.cox.net/svs650/jd3.jpg
Me, myself, and I... breaking in the new setup, it was the second time out since doing a bunch of mods and it felt great.

Another shot of groucho marx... somewhere, in the midst of all that tube is a Jeep. Let me out, let me out

This one gave us all some trouble, definitely a weird spot to climb...

Here is a video of Mr marx climbing that same ledge...

I had a great time everyone thanks for the trip, if any of you that went have some good pictures (especially of me) post them up. It's hard to take pictures of yourself driving over the rocks. Maybe I need to set up a video camera underneath or something. :D

Looks like a great trip Rio. I agree with you on the pictures form others. I bought a digital video camera and they make sure I am on the video (I told everyone if I was not on it it gets dumped). I now have no new pics of my rig when wheeling. I like to keep my web site up to date. To everyone that goes on a trail run take pics and share them.

Nice Rio,
Sux I missed the trip, I was looking forward to wheelin with yall.
I called Eric at 7:45 this morning and had to back-out.
Came home from the races Saturday night to a real sick dog :(
Anyway,
The trail looked as if it dried up.
Man, sure would be nice to run with the sun out and no water running down the middle
So how did the "GIRL" do ???
any good pics of her gettin CRAZY :D

Looks sweet! Wish I could have made it as well... unfortunately personal reasons kept me off the trail this weekend.
Maybe next weekend or the following we can all get out! Sure would be fun to run JD in the day! Especially dry like that!

It was an absoulutely beautiful day to ride!! Great Group. Great trail.
I had fun.
Thanks for the spotting everyone!! :)
I really thought Eric was going over on that first waterfall.
Most of the water was gone except in the big crack. Green, bug filled water still fills the hole in the ground.
Anyone have an idea why my stearing wheel shakes between 26 and 32mph, then again at around 60mph? I did push the belly pan up a bit
I'm hoping it's just tire balances..... hmmm.

Hey Rachel...
I would try balancing the tires first at Rick's.
Other possibilities could be bent tie rod, loose trackbar, control arm mounts, etc..

I'm surprised there was no water in JD. On Saturday, there was still water running through Lower Terminator. That one pool right before White Line was deep enough to submerge a 36" Swamper.

The "Girl" did great, Geno. The only thing crazy that I did was push my tranny up too far and now my rear drive shaft is out of line.
I wasn't the one taking picutures of flowering cacti.....
What "Girl" were you refering to.... ;)

Ok, I'm game. How about next saturday. I haven't done lower terminator in a while and I always liked that trail. Or we could do Predator. On a somewhat related note, I just got all the Schwarzenager references a couple of days ago. Terminator, Predator, Judgement day, collateral damage...
I know... I know... They say I'm special. :D

As long as y'all think my Jeep can handle it, I'm game. :)
Can't make Moab so I need to get some fixes while I can.

Don't worry, I took my Jeep through lower terminator a couple of times with 32" tires and a budget boost and no lockers. No problem. Just don't be too cool to take the strap when you need it.

Ya know I'm just too  for that strap. :p
I'm not afraid of no strap, I'll even supply my own. :D I just need to get to 4 Wheelers and get a rear tow point.

Where in Mass? I've got friends in Athol. We used to fish the Quabbin everytime we went up to visit. Take lots of pics!

Thanks but I think I'll just use my receiver hitch. The area I used to have my tow hooks in the frame have seized bolts in them now holding on my frame tie in kit.

Did you ever make it south to Paragon in Hazelton, PA or Rausche Creek, PA? I'm not sure if you had a jeep then or not, hell I don't know if you were wheeling back in MA or not. :D
It was nice meeting you yesterday, ya seem like a cool chickie. :D I look forward to wheeling with you soon. :)

I changed my tranny fluid today. Tried to straighten the drop pan in the mean time. (since I bent it on Jud. Day) The vibrations are not quite as bad as before, but now it more around 40mph. Hmmm....
And I think I tightened the gasket too much. Little leakage....
If it isn't one thing it's another. But I learned lots today.
WOuld really like to learn how to get grease out from under my nails
Not too pretty.
No wheeling in MA. Just started when I moved to AZ.
WIll look around when I visit though.
Rachel
PS Very nice meeting you too WD. Cant' wait to wheel again....
Will be a while. :(
Yo Rachel,
What's with the Highlift in the back seat ????? did the mount break ??
Oh, and as for not getting grease under your finger nails, try using latex gloves when you wrench... I use them when greasing berings and they work great.. If you ever need help working on something you know where I'm at...
