I want to get some onboard air for my Jeep and will eventually want to get lockers. Can I run any onboard air system with the ARB lockers or do I need to get the ARB air compressor? I thought about getting a Co2 tank but I am not too comfortable with the idea of it and room in the back of the TJ is tight.
Any thoughts or opinions will be appriciated.
Thanks.....Mike

You can run any onboard air system as long as you have a regulator since the ARB's require a relatively low psi to operate. This is pretty common.

Here's one article on it:

I run a York compressor. To me it is great I can run a full set of air tools and what not on the trail impact for axles and wheels a high speed for cutting and all sorts of other stuff and it does not run out.
You can always regulate it for the ARBs I dont run those but not a big deal.

85 to 105 PSI is the recommended pressure for an ARB locker. I've seen them successfully operated by a York air source, CO2, and a variety of 12V compressors.

This won't work on a Jeep product, but it sure is neat.
