As I broke a rear axle on Friday I spent the day doing video of everyone else on Sat. This is what I came up with.

Jim has bigger tires than mine and a 4:1 (I think), after Joe worked on my junk last week he told me I have a rear shaft starting to twist. I need some new shafts.
This besides the my junk over heating is why I wasn't too disapointed I didn't find AA last weekend.

Remember now....A D6o axle is the EXACT same size as the D44 axle as far as splines and Dia is concerned, The only strong point is is Full floating. Jim is upgrading his shafts to 35 spline 1.50".... Same as the ones I have in my "Monster 44"....

Yeah and they are the same size as Bruce's F8.8 also.mmmmmm No. Those are 31 spline and bigger diameter. I believe the 8.8 is 1.43 and the 44/60 is 1.31

I have to get some things done to my Jeep first. Like measure the length of my axle shafts, replace some TRE's, hook up the CB so there isn't any engine noise, figure out the over heating problem, replace some more fluids and hook up my new toy.
I had some teeth pulled yesterday, so this weekend is not a good one to work on the Jeep. I can barely type on these drugs.
Joe, do you remember which shaft is twisting? I noticed you put blue dots on the retainer bolts on one side. All this doesn't mention the 1.5HP stickers you put all over it, which I got laughed at about, by someone at FJ.
Did you use the winch at all Joe????

Nice Vid, Jim.
Good seeing you out there, How are you doing your 35 spline upgrade? Drilling out spindles, or welding new ones on?

Didn't you watch the vid, James? ;)
Some winched and some didn't in various spots. That's first vid I've seen of AA and having never run it yet, it gives much better perspective on the obstacles (thanks, Jim!) than I've seen so far in pictures. I'm certain when I run it in my CJ-5 I'll be winching alot :D
