Wheeling this weekend on Sat 3/16

My old man is in town and I wanna take him out for a day of wheeling. I was thinking of something along the lines of Sunflower, Reno Pass or Sycamore. I live in Scottsdale and would like to do something reasonably close and short in distance. I'm not sure how much he'll like it so any long trails are out of the question. I've done everything you can at Saguaro and FR42 is under water...I wanna avoid both those areas.

Does anyone have any suggestions or interest in coming along? I'm looking for a 3.5 to 4 rated trail. Mr Ed's memorial run in Florence is an option, but I don't want to drive that far with gas prices and the time it will take to get there. I would like to meet around 9am and be done by mid afternoon. I had a blast at Sunflower last September and wanna run the loop again.

I will be out at Mr. Ed's run this weekend if my wife has the baby......Still waiting the doctors said it would be this weekend, they lied. If not I'll just have to go take her over some rocks and see if we can get that little sucker outta there. :D :D
I would think Sunflower would be about the same distance as FJ from scottsdale. Every Sunflower run I have gone on has taken pretty much the whole day.
