I have too many. Proof I've lived IMHO.

Right hand: Knife scar. Tried to take a 10 inch hunting knife from a drunken friend once and he almost cut my friggin thumb off. 100+ stitches.

Forehead: Full beer can thrown at my head during a frat party from like 4 feet away. I caught it after it bounced off my head and drank it. Prolly shoulda gotten stitches. Too late now.

Left trapezoid (upper back/neck): Shot by my brother on accident with a .38 while he was trying to show off.

Left Eyebrow: Hit by a fraternity paddle during a ritual I can't discuss details. It was not intentional.

Right between the eyes: Almost looks like a wrinkle. Docs did a good job. 15 stitches, got punched by a guy wearing brass knuckles.

Right thigh: 8 Stitches, had a cyst removed.

Bottom of left foot: Ran into a reef at night in Mexico (after a long road trip) and slit it right open

Lotsa small knuckle scars from fights. Had surgery on my right hand for a "Boxers fracture", aka broken small metacarpal after putting my fist through a door once.

Under chin: 3 stitches. Fell out of a shopping cart as a 2 year old, don't remember it.

It's good to be older and wiser now! The only bad ones really are the knife and gunshot scars. It's funny, some people, the second they shake my hand say, "Wow! How'd you get that?" and some people I have known for years, close friends even, have never asked. More often people don't notice, or decide not to bring it up, I'm not sure which.

both schins(sp?) from kickboxing and just being a boy growing up in the country... worst is on my left and is about 2.5" long... some guy's teeth met my leg during a round kick. He tried to duck, and i knocked out several of his teeth (even with a mouthgaurd)
a pair of scars on inside of right arm that form a cross. First was from a chain link fence and rocksalt-loaded shotgun aimed at my tail. Other is from my bro locking me out of the house at 12 and me putting my arm through a window... accidentally.
Final one of note is on outer left wrist where I blocked a knife my brother was wielding during a fight betwixt us.

One on Left thumb, friend hit my hand with a hatchet, no stitches just some gauze and duct tape.

One on left forearm(top) cut with a razor blade, a dare in school marine biology.

One on right shoulder, broke my right clavicle at the growth plate had to have it pinned for 7 weeks.

Many on the head(little ones), many on the hands little ones from fixin the jeep. One on the nose extremely thin hard to see from a missle attack in Iraq(Scud), got it putting on the ole gas mask. Still don't know how it cut me. Couple of small ones on the shin from raking my leg on the steps getting into and out of my duece from the inside of the hmmwv. One on the knee right,evading a sniper shooting into the base at Anaconda while we were playing softball in the dirt.

One big one barely noticable anymore from being blown up in 97 in the army. Took really good care of my skin after that, didn't see the sun for about two months so I could nurse the skin to normal. Lots of aloe and pure lanolin skin cream did the job it is supposed to do.

and one on the left belt line on my belly when a friend grabbed me with the tongs at a bar-b-que.

Ok.. let's see here.

Index toe, left foot. Knuckle is permanenly swelled due to running a 3-wheeler into a tree and jamming my foot between the tree and peg.

Left foot, arch. Took a nail jumping off a wood pile.

Right knee. Screwing around, ripped about a 1.5" long, 1" wide chunk of skin sliding on black top.

Inside left wrist. Exhaust burn scar from another 3-wheeling incident.

Lower back. Scar about 3" long. Unknown cause, or just don't remember. :confused:

Middle right finger. Crushed the nail while laying block about 6 years ago. Caught between re-bar and block. That has just now recently grown back.

Today (4/7/05): Was mnt biking. Sudden stop caused me to fall to side and roll down a hill. Cuts and scratches to the knees, elbows, and pride :D

I'm always getting cuts, scrapes, blood blisters and metal splinters at work.

I have one on my left wrist from a hunting knife when I was 4, (sliced off a 1.5in by 1in patch of skin).
At least 4 or 5 welding scars.
Right wrist scratched up from a broken socket that cut up my arm..
4 inch scar on forehead from stiches - quad accident.
1 inch scar under left eye from getting knocked over when I was 3.
An area on the top of my head that had a 1.5x1.5 inch patch of skin completely ripped off due to an accident (got hit by a loaded fertilizer truck that tried to pass me when I was turning left on a tractor). This one basically resulted in a 4x5inch section with lots and lots of stiches and scar paths...
couple on my arm between my wrist and elbow.
Glass (automotive) in both elbows..
Typical scars on both knees from growing up on a farm.
Scar on right shin from jumping in to a shallow canal.
scar on left shin from soccer (who needs shin guards!)

Scar over left eye, not to noticable anymore, but got it by being thrown off a horse when I was about 5 years old. After we took care of the blood, my great grandpa sat me back up there.

scar, mostly faded, in front of my left ear, from two 18 yr old punks who jumped me when I was 15. 3 days in the hospital over that one. I got hit in the back of the head with a 16 oz Coke bottle. Still don't remember a thing about it. :D

tops of both hands and top of head, (don't ask), from burns received fighting a fire in the midship pumproom on a Navy ship. I was one of two guys out of 5 who survived that one when a high pressure steam line ruptured. We stayed alive by diving into the bilge water in the bottom of the ship.

varous small scrapnel (sp?) scars on left arm, received while ducking in SE Asia.

Althought I don't have scars from them I also have broken my left ankle twice and dislocated my left hip when I used to race motorcycles.

Almost lost my left little finger when I smashed it setting some forms for a radio tower up at the east end of the grand canyon. Got 2 layers of sticthes from a very good looking lady doctor. We had to drive 25 miles to hospital and I had to tell my friend to slow down. I thought he was going to kill us on that curvy road.

I have permanent hip problems from those days. Actually now that I think about it, all my injuries are on my left side! :eek:

My left side is about 20 years ahead of my right side in the wore out factor.

It was all fun. :D

I've got a few but the best one is in the middle of my left knee. At age 15, I buried a chain saw in my knee. Chain saws do not cut....they remove material that is in their way and leave a large gap when removed. :eek: Spent the better part of 4 hours in surgery as they worked on putting it back together. Almost died in the woods as no one else was with me. Much like Jeepin'.....always do it with someone else. ;)

Ummm...only one. On the right side of my forehead from an auto accident years ago. Oh, and the one on an index finger from a carving accident. Oh, and the one on my ankle from....lol.

I got numerous scars on the hands from working on Jeeps and stuff.

i got 2 scars from carrying 2 boxes as a young kid and catching my head on the door latch. My mom freaked and I had to have some stitches. I really dont remember that one as I was only a few years old.

I got a scar on my left thigh from using a razor to create some cutoffs. I guess I learned as a kid that you should take off your pants first! :p

I got a few small almost unnoticable scars from a street hockey incident as a kid. Hehe

I got a scar from a hernia operation at 4.

I got a scar on my ankle where I had a wart burnt off.

I have an upcoming surgery in 2 weeks on another hernia. We'll have to see how clean it turns out to be.

I have a scar on my heart from when you guys told me my groucho bumper was ugly. :D :(
