Don't forget our 10% club discount. Of course if they have to order your top
you can add another 15%, based on my experience. I think Four Wheel Drive
Hardware is running a top sale also. Check their prices against 4 Wheelers.

Jon,
My guests and I had a great time on fr42 Saturday, thanks for leading
it.
It was also the perfect test for the recent clutch linkage upgrade I
did. I converted it from a mechanical linkage (which was always
having to be adjusted on the trail) to hydraulic and I didn't have to
stop once to adjust anything or put it back together. Oh, the joy
from the little things in life like a full functioning clutch (the
whole time).
If anyone else currently has a mechanical clutch linkage setup and
you've had the problems I have, you should seriously consider
upgrading to hydraulic. If you've got questions, let me know. You
can also check out the conversion at

actually linda, the more stickers you have the more likely your car is to be
stolen. if a highly modified jeep was next to a stock jeep, the modified
would be stolen first cause it is worth more to chop shops and to the theif.
the lower profile the better. its like those stupid teenagers with their
stereos that u can here from a mile away and they pull into the mall parking
lot with them blasting and then come out an hour later to be surprised their

I agree with Jay's comment..I drive a new TJ and rarely ever get a
wave. I believe it must be the number of bone-stock (yet oh so
commonly the 4.0L), sparkly clean, top-never-been-down, TJ's with
pretty steering wheel covers driven to the mall by spoiled high
school girls (no offense to anyone in the club), just my little
opinion, that's all. Oh well, I'll just keep driving and laugh at
the fact they most people in new jeeps have little idea of what it is
capable of, much less the concept of "the wave".

Why I don't wave.
I don't wave because I'm more worried about looking for the idiot about
to turn in front of me than I am about looking for a hand.
I don't wave because I'm trying to decide if that stale green light is
about to turn yellow on me.
I don't wave because I'm worried that the person beside me who is
talking on the cell phone or putting on makeup may decide to join me in
my lane.
I don't wave because I looking for the pothole that can swallow me
alive.
I don't wave because when I drive I'm worried about getting where I'm
going safely and in on piece. If I have time to check out your jeep
safely I'll check it out. If while I'm checking it out I see your wave
I'll respond in kind, but, my socializing is for the trail head where I
don't need to worry about people in 2 ton weapons trying to hurt me.
So if I don't respond to your wave understand it isn't because I'm a
snob, it is because I'm worried about the main task at hand, driving.

having to be adjusted on the trail) to hydraulic and I didn't have to
stop once to adjust anything or put it back together. Oh, the joy
from the little things in life like a full functioning clutch (the
whole time).
If anyone else currently has a mechanical clutch linkage setup and
you've had the problems I have, you should seriously consider
upgrading to hydraulic. If you've got questions, let me know. You
can also check out the conversion at

actually linda, the more stickers you have the more likely your car is to be
stolen. if a highly modified jeep was next to a stock jeep, the modified
would be stolen first cause it is worth more to chop shops and to the theif.
the lower profile the better. its like those stupid teenagers with their
stereos that u can here from a mile away and they pull into the mall parking
lot with them blasting and then come out an hour later to be surprised their
stereo is gone. theifs listen and watch for vehicles. the more you
advertise your vehicle, the more likely it or something on it will be
stolen.

I moved to Arizona from Philadelphia back in May. Back home, there are a

I have been here, I have had exactly three waves returned. I'm puzzled by

to drop us a line at toybox@t.... Or keep an eye out on our web

sale there. Look for "Kayline Soft Tops" on the left hand side of the site.

What type of Jeep you driving?? I find that CJ owners are a little less likely

I got a jeep wave today. It was from a guy in nice, shiny, brand new

At first I thought the guy was lost. Then I figured he was just
checkin' out my XJ. Then I realized it was Scott K from the club. So I
waved back.
Nice ride, Scott. Did you buy it?? I guess the TJ isn't very fast
