I need to put on a new tie-rod so was wondering if anyone is wrenching tonight? I'll prolly need help getting everything aligned afterwards. At least close enough until I can get an alignment done. Anyone?

Gosh Greg, I just got around to reading your post or you could have come over here at my place. I shut it down just before dark to keep from embarassing myself when I discover that the reason it didn't work last nite was because I put it in backwards. My ole eyes don't see well in the dark anymore.

Doh!!!!!!!!!

Eh, no worries. I was just hoping... :D This is something I've been meaning to do for quite some time and I just got around to getting the new part yesterday... so I was just excited to fix something (hopefully this does the trick). Anywho, thanks for the (almost) offer :D

Thanks TJ. I got it installed, but I don't think it is aligned correctly. I think I have about a 1/4" toe-in. I believe it's supposed to be 3/64 - 3/32, but I'm not sure. I'm hoping this fixes my "wondering" problem. When I was driving I could feel the traction jumping from tire to tire and pulling me around. I did have about 1/4" toe-out before the new tie rod though.
