Why do they offer 33" and up in the Extreme Terrain style tire, but in the MT and AT tire they only offer 35" and above? Does anyone else find that weird? :confused:

They are a new company and I believe have only been making these tires since like August of last year. So I am sure that they are making tires that are wanted by their target group. They seem to be putting out new sizes all of the time.

pull tires. The company makes tires for other companies, the owner was on the pirate boards a couple of months ago. :)

39.5's baby!! 15, 16, 16.5, 17 wheel sizes. These are only for the Rocker Tire.

Are these going to be less expensive than the major name brand tires? I kind of like the Growler, has a similar look as the Baja Claw. But I'm always skeptical of new tires until they are proven. Would have to be a really good price to take a chance on the unknown quality.

I believe MT/Rs have 3 plies in the sidewall. By the way, plies are kind of a misnomer. It really refers to sidewall thickness and a 1 ply refers to a certain thickness. So 6 is 2 times the thinkness as 3.

The thicker the rubber on the tire, the heavier it is.

For a comparison, I beleive that 36 inch SuperSwamper SXs have 6 ply.

Yes, Goodyear is 3 ply. The 39.5" Irok Bias or Radial is 6 ply in the 15 inch wheel.

Interco has some that are 10 ply too, but in a radial.

I'm nearing a point where I need new meats. I'll have to give these some consideration. I'd planned to go from 33's to 35's, but their 35's only come in a 13.50 and I'm not sure my 8" rims would handle a tire that wide.

Anyone running anything wider than a 12.50 on 8" rims? any problems with losing beads?

Yes, I have pricing. PM me what size you are looking for and I will give you a price. As far as how well they work, I don't have 1st hand knowledge, they are brand new. Also, all tires right now are BIAS, no radials yet.
