My kids did something with the ignition key for my brothers 96 XJ...DOH!!!
(no spare, that one was lost a year ago)

I need to have a new one made, any suggestions?

With late model cars, I believe you can go to the dealer with the VIN and get a spare made. Apparently this method is real popular with car thieves and is why you should keep your dash mounted VIN plate covered.
