Hi All,
I am looking for a hanging pedal assy for a CJ. Anyone have a CJ that they are parting or have one of these around? Looking to put power brakes in my 66. A Quad-track unit would work also since I am going to an auto tranny.
I already called AMC 4x4 in Glendale and she said they are hard to find and keep when they get them.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks.

Check with Willys Works in Tucson. Lots of older jeep and willys parts 520-888-5082. Open Tuesday thru Saturday, 10AM to 6PM. Good guys to work with.

Does the CJ have a manual or automatic transmission? If it's manual you can get a variety of truck and car pedals to work. I would check with the WillysTech group (a yahoo group) as to which are the best ones to use.

Another thought would be to use a remote vacuum boost. My 66 Power Wagon is set up that way. The master cylinder is on the firewall. It goes to a slave mounted on the vacuum boost unit. The vacuum boost is mounted under the cab. Funky, but it works!

Thanks for the replies from both of you. I did find/join the Willystech group and have been starting to search the archives. I will try to call Willys Works in Tucson on Weds and see what they have to say.

Thanks
Chris
