Here is a pic of the bumper mounted :)

It seems that as I go I just want to keep adding to it.
Maybee it will end up as an Exo :D

Here is the piece I'm thinking of adding to tie into the Uni-body.

Ya, but I'm still partial to the "rustic" look :D

I see you have a manual bender...how do you like it? I heard that those things crease the bends alot. would you recommend one for someone who can't afford a hydrolic?

oh...tieing that into the body looks SWEEEET! how much body work did it take to cut the rear bottom off of the rear quarter panels? I have a body saw and a grinder and I need to cut something.

The bender is great !!! I love it.. It doesnt crease anything..
Look at the piece of steel I'm holding up, no creases.
When it comes to tools, 90% of the time you get what you pay for. ;)

I got my set up from M-Tech supply in Mesa, its the NE-5 with degree ring, stand, 1" die, 1.5" die, 1.75" die and I got the tube notcher.
Total cost was about $900.00, BUT this thing will bend SCH40 like butter :)

As fart as cutting behind the rear tires, the cutting part was simple, it was the aftermath that SUCKED
on the early style XJs there is a lot of structure in that area, so after I cut it out I started having problems with the body splitting near the bottom inside corner of the tail light.

I kept welding the cracks and they kept splitting
As I was building the rear bumper I reinforced that area with some flat strap,
So far so good :)

Here is some SCH 40 that I bent just to try it out, like I stated earlier,
BENDS like BUTTER :D

A guy at work talked me into the purchase or this bender,
he bent 10 sandrails in the first year

After I saw the quality of the bends I got my last years IncomeTax money and bought it :)
