Mike,

You got any mock ups of the "Extreme Rock Halo" you were talking about on the Yahoo board yet?

Funny you should mention that, I just got them on my computer today...

Here is the one that was made for a Dana 44 with Electrac locker, so the right side of the ring had to be cut out. Standard ones will be a full ring.

Never too late...but I still don't have an ETA on when they will get here. Not sure if they have them made yet...I was hoping by now.

Mike,
Was waiting to hear back from you on the Dana 44's. You told me in Jan, that you were waiting on some materials.

What's the status now?

Hmmm, I don't remember talking with you...I am sorry. I do have 3 Dana 44's that are made and painted black sitting on the shelf...1 is spoken for.

Did we talk here or through e-mail?

Same to you Mark...thanks for stopping by!

Just like I said the whole time: "It is too clean"....

For everyone else, Steve Thompson came by with his 84 CJ7, something like 30,000 original miles, original EVERYTHING, and in DAMN good condition. Paint looked BRAND NEW.....

Mike,
The front cover hits the front stock trackbar on a stock height Rubi. Did you want me to take any measurements for your future business, before I take it off and cut it up to fit? :D

Get a lift for that thing and it will be fine! :D

If you wouldn't mind, I would like to see it...can you drop by my house sometime again?

We can pull it off at my house, and I will fix it while you wait.

Thanks for letting me know!

I had to pull it back off. The jeep was darn near undriveable with the trackbar AND the Halo slapping into each other. I'm planning to go 2" up, and that's about it. I'm gonna plasma cut the edges that hit the track bar, and lower the top/middle just a taste with a cut/hammer/weld.

I can drop by this week. When?

He got the cover on Tuesday, and will be drawing it up today hopefully. Then he just needs to get it to the cutter. I am hoping he can get it cut and shipped next week.

they are both still sitting in my garage. I plan to get them both installed this weekend, if possible. The heep now has a 2" budget boost on it. I'm going to check the clearance at compression. If still there, the front one might get a little "trim around the ears" to clear it all.

Remember, if you would rather have me do it, I have no problem making it work with your setup...no charge. I have some spare rings, we can even start fresh if we have to!

Thanks Man!!!

It looks like I'm headed out of town for a month for work, so I just boxed them up and will look at them when I get back.

Do you think the rear one will clear a Kilby's skid without any issues?

Hmmm, it should. I belive mine are more compact then Poison Spyders, and I think theirs clear easily....

If not, we can make it fit!

If you want to drop the Rubi Unlimited off at my house, I will keep an eye on it for you! :D

Hee hee! I'll keep that in mind. I saw that rack with the flat gas/water cans. I might come over for a little of that rack action this spring.

Well, depending on WHERE in So Africa he is headed, that could be cool... Especially if he has access to the beach and a jet ski.
