This car sold for $3 million dollars yesterday, by the time you add in commissions it's $3.24 million. It was amazing thing to watch on TV. I just happened to be taking a break from my "honey do's" when this car came up on the blocks.

The guy that bought it, bought about 5 other cars yesterday. He said, he was there collecting cars for a museum. He was still emotional after winning the bid. It was something amazing to see. I can't find any articles about it today, weird....

That was an awesome sight to watch as the bidding got intense. I wish GM would produce a retro car like this. That's got to be one of the nicest concepts i've ever seen.

Got a chance to see part of that show. What a neat group of vehicles for auction. Nothing I could afford but it was awesome to see the condition of some of those vehicles.

Did you hear the story about the guy that actually bought it, not the bidder? He is the guy that owns the Discovery Channels and he is building a museum in Gateway, CO.
