I guess I'll go ahead and post a trip report for this run, as I ended up leading it.

We had 3 xj's(Me, Flexy, Ron), 3 tj's(Eric, Brian, Brad), 1 YJ(Spicoli), and a CJ(Ron).

We left the airdown spot with Joe leading, but his old age has got the better of him and he made a wrong turn. I tried to tell him he was going the wrong way, but he wouldn't listen to the guy with "short term memory loss".

Since my memory isn't all that bad, I was now leading the trail, as we got there some 20 minutes before Flexy and the rest of the group. This gave Brad time decide he didn't want to dent up his purty Rubicon, so he decided to go to the end of the trail via the exit road and meet us.

On the first obstacle a few of us drove it, and a few had to winch. No breakage though, which was good.

After that, we worked our way up the wash, taking our turns trying some "optional" lines. I have to give props to Eric (DsrtJeeper), for trying over and over a few times on a couple crazy climbs. After just flopping his shiny, all aluminum, Trendy Jeep a few weeks ago, he sure was throttle happy :) It sure was fun to watch.

Ron (with the CJ) busted the rear yoke on his Dana 60 on one of the first climbs, but with a couple spare yoke straps and a little on-trail welding, he was good as new.

Flexy blew up a 44 axle shaft on another of the optional "hard lines", but was able to limp out in 3 wheel drive with a couple tugs from Spicoli. He ended up driving it all the way back to the trailer, which may have been hard on other internal parts :) You could hear that axle coming from a mile away.

All in all, I'd say it was a pretty good day. Beautiful weather, big rocks, what more could a guy want ;)

Here's a link to my pics on webshots:h2h pics (http://community.webshots.com/scripts/editPhotos.fcgi?action=viewall&albumID=259169253) Sorry I didn't get to many pics of anybody else. My wife was taking pics and I guess she only takes pics of the good lookin jeeps ;)

The link to the h2h pics is to your album account - not the public viewable page. Email an invite to yourself, then cut/paste the link it mails you here and we should be able to see them.

Yea, webshots doesn't allow individual posting of pics on forums anymore.

I like to use www.tinypic.com and just keep photos on my computer and upload to that site from my hard drive.

Well, I guess thats what I get for trying. The teaser shots didn't show up and the album link didn't work.

At least my computer didn't lock up, as it's about due for that.

Either I'll try and repost the pics and link tomorrow, or I'll just go back to lurking.

The teaser shots were only pics of Flexy.....naked, sweaty and handcuffed, that I found on a porno web site. And nobody wants to see that.

Read my signature. :D What's life without adrenaline? ;)

I'd sure like to see the video Ron shot of that one climb I made. I had a great time and I didn't know Rick and Joe are sisters! They sure argued and whined like it! :D I may not have been able to ace that last climb, but I proved that TJ's can move large obstacles. :D Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Sounds like a fun run, guys!

But Brad! What the heck, man?!?!? You spanked Axle Alley. You coulda surely done H2H. As I recall, you've got some heavy duty rocker guards on that Rubi (not the stock versions). That's the only place you're pretty much guaranteed to touch on that trail. The rest is doable without contacting the body anywhere.

Next time!

Ahhh yes, speaking of pictures found on the internet.... I dont remember if I found these on "www.mycamarorulez.com" or "www.mulletsgalore.com" or maybe it was "www.Ilovethe80's.com".... Maybe someone could help me remember... :D Although, its not a full on "Tennesee Waterfall" It a quite a nice speciman. Note the well groomed part line, nicely centered in the middle of his head. Mullet rating : 6 out of 10, but still a thumbs up!! :D We argue like sisters 'cause we are best friends, besides, I am right 99.8% of the time....:)

Brian,

Is that a modified Troy slider or a custom fab job. Whatever it is it looks good and it's been used. :D ;)

Can't wait to see it on those new 37's. :)

The rocker is troys but the rear quarter is a homebrew.
