Heads-up, any of you who are crazy enough to think you would want to live/work in Sedona. Many of the Jeep-related businesses are gearing up for spring and will be posting job openings in the next couple of weeks. Thought I would give you all the jump on it.

NOTE: All of these jobs require that you APPLY IN PERSON--they will want to make sure you don't smell or have hair growing out of your teeth or whatever...:D I am happy to give you insider details, but you will be interviewing with the respective owners.

1. Arizona Safari Jeep Tours--3 positions open. ASJT is one of the newer Jeep tour companies, and the fastest growing. They like to hire multi-talented people. Ideally the 3 positions will be filled by people who can perform tours, answer phones & schedule tours, and knows the difference between a coil spring and a lawn mower. Strong customer service skills, outdoor skills, high energy, sense of humor. For tour guide details, see the article I put on their site: http://www.safarijeeptours.com/life_of_a_guide.php

2. Farabee Jeep Rentals--Needs part-time and full-time help. Jeeping experience required. Answer phones, take reservations, wash Jeeps, prepare guests for trail situations, wash Jeeps, answer phones, wash Jeeps...Also requires strong customer service skills, initiative, team-spirit, farm-work ethic. Very nice family company www.SedonaJeepRentals.com

Happy trails!

They hire part time or full time only?

Could use a nice little job like this to suppliment the flying one. ;)

Typically, they want full-time, but if you have some experience, part-time or back-up is okay.

Wow sounds like a cool summer job!

I just wish I could get out of my current job, I keep giving my notice, but my wife/boss won't let me quit!

You don't have to wear pink knickers or anything to do this do you? :D

Pink knickers are optional. Safari's Jeeps are a masculine khaki metallic.

Yeah, us girls can be slave drivers! :D

Cool, how much do I have to pay them an hour to drive their jeeps?

Do they have lockers and 35's etc? :D

One of these young bucks here should jump all over a job like this (I wish I could).

man why didn't I see this a month ago!!!

Do you know if they still need any help? I have degrees in finance and management and I'm very mechanically inclined. I have Worked in customer service postions in motorcycle service departments and also experience in the medical feild as an EMT and other emergency services. I mean with a background like that who wouldn't want to hire me to drive their jeeps? :D just kiddin... Only stubling block is the "in person" part... I live 2000 miles away but would gladly make the trip to interview if there is a serious possibitly of a job offer.

I can pm you the link to my resume if you like.

thanks,
Tim
