Does anyone have a tow dolly I can use to go pick up a friend Chari in Lukeville. She broke down in Mexico. She can get a tow to the border but needs to be towed to Phx. She has a 98 Jeep and lives in central Phoenix. I will need to leave Wed early. She said it is a 4 hour drive there. You can call me anytime.

Yes. They can stop you and ask for it at any time. You need a passport to cross into Mexico too, if that's how you're going to get her. If she can go through the border checkpoint you should be fine. It's about 3~ish hours straight to the border if you are near me (101 to 17 to Carratera-8) if you have minimal traffic.

Also, I'm not sure about this but if you're hauling stuff back from Mexico they might consider it "property" and make you pay an export tax.

I want to publicly thank Joe Osuch and Steve Olney for teaming up to get me home from Lukeville Wednesday. She was a 13 year old clutch and I can't complain after all the abuse she has suffered but I wish she would have died here at home. Between my friends in Mexico and here, I am blessed. What could have been a nightmare was a piece of cake. If anyone wants a good tow truck driver in Rocky Point, let me know. He is an ex pat American and can take you thru the border....Thank you, Steve, for loaning Joe the dolly and Thank you, Joe, for coming to get us. I am so blessed to have friends like you all........
