Had 2 events with the Patriot Guard Riders this Memorial Day weekend. The second was a ride on Monday to the National Cemetary to Honor our Vets. All these pics are from Facebook, some are mine and some are others, Hope you can see them.

I was riding in the Honor Guard, the front group, flying the Air Force flag and as we came into the cemetary we stopped at the visitors center.

We had a memorial moment at the flag pole and gave our thanks for those that have been and prayers for those that are and will be.

After the meet at the flag pole, we made a parade lap thru the entire cemetary, passing down all the lanes to honor all our vets. It was interesting to see all the people stop, pull over to allow romm and in general just the respect for the flag that was shown. But mid way around, there was a young Marine that saw us coming and, at the intersection we were approaching at our turtle pace, he stood on the edge of the road, snapped to attention and popped a salute to the colors and then did not move till the entire group had passed......Yes, there is still honor in this country and young men like this sure make me proud!!!!!

Awesome, great not only that we have some we can rely on for a future, but those who still respect what this country stands for and supports those willing to sacrifice for it.
