That is the email address I have for him.
I saw one of his racks in Safford when I was working there. They
are very nice and I think he will customize them to suit your
application.
Hope this helps,

No buy Mickey's for street use. I love the tread and off road performance,
however whenever I or any of my friends had them on a 4x used on the street
they wore out twice as fast as any other brand due to the soft rubber. If
one is drastically different it may be defective and I would take it to
discount and see. You may also want to check the balancing of the tire and
it i spossible if your alignement is off to decrease the life of a tire.
Good luck.

short series, since it's my Jeep!) Here
goes:
98 TJ 6 cyl: After work, your battery is

What's wrong?
Answer comes on Sunday.

The right answer turns out to be just the battery. It had a short in
it, which may have caused the alternator to act the way it did.
Still
don't understand why it died at idle, something about the integrated
electronics getting confused. In the good ol' days before cars had
computers little things like this were a lot easier to figure out!

While I voted for the jeep thing I agree with the battery. Whenever you
have electric problems the first step it so fully charge the battery and
test it.

The tires should have a mileage warrantee. If they where out before that
they will replace them. If not then punch a hole on the side wall edge near
the tread and they'll have to replace it under road hazard warrantee........

I just made a trip to the grand canyon and realized that with my 32's and
3.07's unless you have a strong tailwind or are going downhill 5th gear is
pretty much useless it can still be used but the slightest gust of wind or
hill and you slow way down. its nice having the bigger tires but for
anybody thinking of this combination I would recommend at least 4.10 gears
and a turbo and a nitrous system and anything else that will fit :)

Keith,
When I had 32's and 3.73's it was a great matchup for going up north. I had no trouble going 75-80 up all of the hills. 4.11's would be good if you want to go up to 33's someday. The 4.56 gears seem good for the 35's but if I have to slow for traffic I end up downshifting to 3rd sometimes.

Progress once again.
Mike Chatfield and I met at 5:00pm Table Mesa area to get an early start.
Chris and his wife were going to meet us on the trail at 7:00pm, with Jeff
Meade. Jeff wasn't sure of the location of the trail, and Chris was coming
all the way from Florence. (He wins the determined to help award hands
down!) All went well, until the extrication began. Dragging metal across a
rock and obstacle strewn trail is extremely hard on equipment. (Who's idea
was this, anyway?) Around 7:00 pm we were ready to depart the site, no sign
of Chris and Jeff yet, but we had to get going.Towing this stuff out wasn't
going to be easy. Of course, it took the 3.5 trail and made it closer to a
4.5, and we were just taking the light stuff! I was towing the rear third of
the vehicle with the rear axle chained around it. By the time I got halfway
through the trail, my sled had flipped over and became a granite plow. Mike
was towing the center section, with the roof strapped to his roll bar, and
doors and small parts loaded in back of his Jeep. A - La Beverly
Hillbillies style. At some point, his parts became detrimental to the life
expectancy of his spare tire. It took 2 hours to pick our way to the end of
the trail. We could hear engine noises behind us and knew that Chris and
Jeff were back there wrestling with the heaviest piece, motor tranny front
clip and axle. No Way. It was determined a return trip with a flatbed 4WD
would be necessary, or make the pieces smaller. Meanwhile, Mike and I are
winching our way out of the last waterfall/hill. We drug the parts to the
top of the hill where we stacked them to the side of the road. We then
headed back to the parking lot to load up, where we finally met up with
Chris and Jeff. We discussed the events of the evening and then all headed
home.
So far, the ZJ has cost me personally $30.00 in Oxy-Acetylene, $13.00 in
Sawzall blades, $10.00 in a pair of Safety glasses. It has cost Greg
Banfield a trip to the doctor for the laceration to his leg, and a taillight
on his full size F-350 we had back there. Ross Skinner paid the price of a
twisted driveline, Mike Chatfield forked over his spare tire Then there's
the wear and tear on our equipment.
I remain committed to getting this vehicle off the trail. For me it is
fun, and the camaraderie is there, which are the only things I am looking
for and going to get out of this.
Anyone interested in next Friday night?

I had my windshield replaced Saturday by a local company called
Integrity auto glass. I have glass coverage on my XJ and was going to get
the windshield replaced sooner or later but I was being lazy and forgot to
call the ins co. on it.. My wife was gassing up at an AM/PM
on 99th and Glendale when this guy in a tie came up and started washing the
window. He said "I notice you have a large crack in your window,
would you like it replaced?" My wife was quite shocked.. He asked what ins.
co. we used, she told him the company and he pulled out his cell phone and
dialed up the ins co. got approval and scheduled an appointment in no time..
I was told the installer would be out between noon and 5pm on Saturday.
Matt the installer called to verify the adress and some short directions due
to my living in the middle of nowhere..
Within 20 miniutes he was pulling into the drive. He started pulling the old
cracked windshield out and cleaned all the old gasket out and any debris
that was in the area even the top of my dash.. In about 30 miniutes he had
the new window in and perfectly clean. Gave me good instructions on what to
do and what not to do untill the setup of the adheasive was finished.. I
just want everyone to know I have used Safe lite auto glass 3 times and
everytime I had them come out they were slow and had poor quality. Integrity
auto glass is top notch and they even get you OEM glass (MOPAR)!!! not
safe-lite glass wich is a lower quality glass.. Safe lite replaced my Wing
windows when My rig got broken into twice, guess what leaks everytime it
rains?? My wing windows... When Safe lite replaced my windshield just after
I got my XJ they didn't remove the old bead of adheasive they just added to
the old stuff. The window used to leak from the bottom when I would use the
Pressure washer..
OK I am done..
Integrity Auto glass ask for Matt Rosenbaum 602-717-2660
ps.. Arizona Law states you have the right to choose your glass co. if you
go through your insurance co. and you have the right to return your vehicle
to factory specs.. IE:MOPAR glass...................

Good luck.

What's wrong?

THAT THE 4.10s WILL PUT IT PRETTY CLOSE TO FACTORY PERFORMANCE.

Keith,
When I had 32's and 3.73's it was a great matchup for going up north.

Subject: Good report on a Company
