PM E-mail notification very slow

I think it works... but either it is being filtered by your spam software OR the email address you signed up under isn't correct. There just isn't a way for the software to work for some and not for others.

Check your settings in your user CP, and check the email address you signed up with and make sure there are no mistakes.

Let me know if you can't get it working... and don't forget to check your junk mail folder.

My computer's SPAM filter doesn't delete the incoming emails, it moves them to a seperate folder. I don't have anything in that folder.

On the other hand, the Cox SPAM filter that a person can subscribe too, and I do, does not let the SPAM in to your computer. So I am wondering if this filter is the one that is that is causing the problems.
I just tried resetting my Cox SPAM blocker/filter. I will see if that works. Their configuration isn't as friendly as I had hoped. I was hoping to make a rule that any email coming from a certain address was not SPAM, but it doesn't do that.

{Edit} Joe, is there a way to see if the BBS software has sent an email? Like a "Sent" folder.
Anyone on Cox, do you have Cox's SPAM blocker/filter on and receive PM notifications?

Mine doesn't work either. I have checked my user settings and email addy. Not problems there. I also get notifications from other BBS systems so it is not the Cox spam filters. I still get spam daily through cox (yes, the option is on) but not the INs.

I even subscribed to this thread and that didn't work, I didn't get any notification there was a reply.

Uppdate - It is not a cox thing. I am using my .Mac email address for this forum and it still does not work.

Yeah, I am getting SPAM labeled as such from Cox now, but I have not recieved anything from this BBS.
