Any ideas at all? See my nephew thinks he wants to keep his stock bumpers. He likes the bumperets on his YJ. So I'm trying to figure out a way to mount recovery points and still keep the bumperets.

they make front hooks that bolt to the frame. Not sure about the rear. You'd have to weld a big Tab to the frame for a D ring.

The bumperettes are designed like mini loops so you can just wrap a strap, winch, whatever around/through them.

OK, obviously I'm not serious above!

As for the front...what Ty (schmude) said.

As for the rear...??? The stock x-member at the back of YJ's is NOT strong enough to attach recovery points directly to. It can be plated, which might allow keeping the little bumperettes. Mine initially had a tow hitch installed (bolted to frame), so for recovery I had a hook I could pin into the receiver.

I have the stock rear recovery loop hook from my old TJ that could be bolted to the frame like it was on the TJ. He can have it but I am in East Mesa. If you know someone that will be in the area they could pick it up.
