I would love to do this but my schedule is full. Do you mind if I pick your brain from time to time?

Damn. If only I hadn't gotten the job offer at the golf course.

Shop is located off 22nd ave, North of Greenway (stone's throw from old Fish and game)

Although there is plenty of stuff that needs to be done (8 vehicles, only 3 of which are running.. others have been mothballed / scavenged), due to financial constraints (business sucks for tour companies right now) ability to "move forward" on projects is limited... was primarily looking for someone who wants to learn / trade labor for shop (swapping transmissions is almost easy when have lift, hydr. tranny jack, etc) time.

Currently on the plate / lift: 1984 CJ8 Scrambler, doing conversion to 999 automatic (installed Tues). Engine has been scavenged / looted so need to get it together, finish with tranny conversion (lines, shifter, etc). Axles need recertification, changing rear springs to SOA XJ (wish I could find some real commando springs)

Next up: CJ8 needs ? : bad TO bearing, has been mothballed (poorly) for 3 years

Next up: CJ7: engine fire, locked up V8

Next up: CJ7 V8 TH400 QT probable dis assembly

Somewhere in there need to finish engine replacement of 1977 scout, go through other Jeeps (running but in need of service) considering converting my commando to tour vehicle

I have some old commando springs but they are pretty flat when loaded. You can have them if you want them. I wish I had the time to do the intern thing with you but I'm already working about 15 to 18 hours a day. My son graduated from wyotech a few months ago and is working at bigo tire in wickenburg. He could use the experience and would probably like to do it but he doesn't get his drivers license back until September.
