I am in need to borrow a set of control arms so i can pick up an XJ that was being parted out. I have access to a truck and flat bed so I need to get the front axle back under it long enough to get it on the trailer.

They need to be short arms for the stock locations.

I will return them as soon as i get it back home. Any help would be appreciated.

Also needed: 5x4.5 rollers of any size rubber.

Thank you
Luke

funny how that works, Huh!!

Even better is that the XJ I'm going to get is in tucson. Not exactly on the way.

Thank you for the post up and it may be my only option. We'll wait a few and see.

I have a set of lower control arms for a JK. You can cut them up or whatever if it will help you.

Another option is Joe (Az offroad recovery) I think he has a tow truck that can pick up the front end.

I may have a few arms too. Let me check.

The XJ is apart in the garage. i need short arms. I have lca's and they wont mount to the stock lower frame mount. I thought about a tow truck or just dragging it out myself, but i dont want to tear up the guys drive way.
I'm wondering if i just cut some tube and drilled holes if they would hold up long enough to get it on the trailer. IDK!!

Thank you and keep the ideas coming.

I have some TJ arms that were sleeved and lengthened and was just about to weld them short again, you could uses those and I'm local to you.
Do TJ's have the same mounting hole sizes? I'm around tomorrow if you need these..

If it were me, I would just drill some scrap steel if I didn't have any arms. Do you have springs too? You only need to get it off and on the trailer. You only need three. I have some arms here if you want to use them.

I picked up a set of short arms from David(NSRacer) today and mocked them up for fitment. They will work perfectly. Thank you all so much for the offers and advice.
