My Bombardier Outlander 4x4 has some new tires that still need breaking in! Who wants to plan a ride?

Hey Kruize!

Where do you go riding at? Maybe I can steal my brothers for a trip...

Mike,

How are you? I didn't see you at the BBQ. I've been thinking about the next Jeep project but until then I will keep riding this. I have been riding on some of the trails I had gone Jeeping on. Obviously not the rock trails, but anything that was up to a 3.5 works great. Let me know if you can go and we'll set something up!

I didn't see you there either...I was there with my 3 year old.

Let me talk to my brother, see if I can steal it. Weekends good for you?

I've been itching to lead a ride that is one of my personal favorites. The trail starts at upper Castle Hot Springs RD. and runs along the old highway 74 which is nothing more than a wagon trail. Old 74 runs into the road that Wickenburg Sportsman Club is on. Taking this road north; you run into the Constellation Mine area. The trails are endless out there. One can either explore the mine area or head east down a beautiful trail which ends up back at Lake Pleasant. From there; you hop back on Castle Hot Springs Rd. and take it back to unloading area. There are old ranches still standing on these trails along with bubbling springs, wild donkeys, cattle and beautiful desert. Occasionally; i'd run into some old timers stopped along the trails and they'd fill me in on the rich history of the area. I could type so much more about this trail, but the above took me an hour to type!!! :D

Scott! Hehe....

I'm itching to do something Saturday, but i'd have to borrow my son's truck to haul the quad and I don't know if he plans on riding this weekend. I gave my quad to my son after realizing I was spending all my time in the Jeep. I sure miss the trail rides though. I've got another real good trail out behind Table Mesa that is very scenic. It's so long that you literally have to turn around before you run out of gas.

Eric,

That sounds great. Maybe after the holidays are over we can get out and do that one.
