If I lived in a wet climate with my junk I would be in serious trouble.
After 2 days of drying out it finally started again. Now if I can figure out the lean/rich conditions I was/am having I might be able to get on the trail again.
Who was the guy at the Bronco Rescue with the pretty little blue CJ5, that brought his grandson along? I would like to talk with you.

Oops.... (i fixed it, I would hate to give a child a complex)
Thanks Richard. I have an appointment at Hopper's on Monday, let me see what his mech's have to say.
I relocated the ECU to a dryer spot today, fixed the windsheild wipers (kind of) and fixed the heater. It's funny what a bit of cold weather and rain does to a person.
The CB is still killing the engine, even after the relocation. The FI manual says the ECU has to be 2 feet away from a CB, it is more than that now. If I have another CB I would try that.

I've got a CB you can try out James. Plugs into the cig lighter.

That would probably be good, since I am tapped off the lighter wire for my CB now it would be a perfect simulation.

You can come get it. Or I can drop it by in the next couple days. What ever works for you. I'm home in the morning, from 9:00am - 10:00. Or home for the day by 4:00.

Good luck with the rig, James. Hope Hopper can help you out. He's done a decent amount of work for me over the past few years. Jim's forgotten more about Jeeps and engines than I will EVER know!

LOL, that is for sure.
I got it over to Jim's this AM. Some jerk (me) forgot and left on the air compressor last week, so the battery was dead. Jim gave it a jump with his Rock Hopper and the dang thing sat there and ran perfectly. I started to ask him about the CB, so I keyed the mic to show him and it didn't die.
I think the Jeep was actually affraid of Jimmy :) .
He is still going to hook it up and see if he can find anything.

An interesting thing I forgot to mention: Jim Hopper has 2 rigs with ProJection, one dies when he keys the mic on the CB and the other doesn't. He said, he tried grounded everything and moving stuff around on the one that dies and nothing has worked.

Yup! I met up with Hopper, Barry, Craig and Steve from 4 Wheelers and ran some trails in Montrose; CO. over the 4th of July. Hoppers rock rig is twin turboed and I was like "WTH???"  Then I remembered his sand drag car from the dunes and Cinders and it all made sense. :D
What's real fun is listening to Hopper on the CB. It sounds like an episode of Gunsmoke!!! :D

UPDATE:
Jimmy and the guys got my junk fine tuned great. There were a bunch of little problems that were causing the problems I was having. They even charged the battery for me over night, JoeD thanks for the wiring tip on the compressor/arb's. LOL I guess in the future I need to make sure all the switches are off before parking it.
Monday it goes off to paint and then hopefully the new lexan windsheild will be put in.
I will need a few pics taken after all this. We need to do a run the Monday after Christmas. Anyone know what kind of setting a digital camera needs to be on for a 300dpi 9"x11"? I know it is something like 2700x3300, but I don't that setting on my camera.
