Hey all, Eric here.

I just wanted to make an official thank-you thread so I could let everyone know how much I appreciated your help. You guys give 4-wheelers a good name.

Although I am severely dissapointed that we had to leave my truck, I'm also very thankful that everyone was safe and NO ONE was injured. I agree that conditions were just too dangerous to continue any further. Even if we had started as soon as we got the truck up to the top, I still think it would have been too wet/dangerous to go on.

So thank-you to everyone again!!

I would really like to send everyone a small token of my appreciation so I'm also asking if everyone that helped could please PM me thier name and address? If you could also include some sort of clue so I can try to match your face/truck with your name that would be great too. I apologize for asking but I'm horrible with names and there were a lot of new names/faces to meet yesterday.

Hey Eric, glad to have met you on Saturday, and to be able to help out. I had the blue XJ with no doors.

I'm still amazed that you walked away from the roll with no injuries. You an an extremely fortunate person, thats for sure.

I wish we could have gotten it all the way out for you, but I agree, the conditions would have made it dangerous and extremely difficult, if not impossible given the vehicles we had. Hopefully you can get some of your fullsize buddies to help pull it out the rest of the way. I still think it would be best to take it up the trail, rather than down through the rocks.

The best way to thank me would be to do the same for someone else in the future. Pay it forward, I guess.

Later,

Rick

What Rick said. No thanks necessary other than to make safety mods your top priority on your next rig. I know a new cage just became mine.

Glad to help out Eric.
I'm Jon Snowden I had the white TJ that did the first pull to get the Bronco back on it's wheels. I talked to you as you were getting your buddies Bronco to head to the top after we loaded all the parts in his Bronco.
