White Tanks trails in trouble?

On my way to California this week I noticed that there are survey stakes all over the desert on Watson Rd. Does anyone know what is going on out there?

houses are going up all over out there. They have the signs posted up already as well. It was bound to happen sooner or later as those mtns day are numbered. The whole place is a trash pit now, no one ever wants to do any clean ups out there. Not to mention the whole west valley is growing so fast and I am sure the mountains are gonna be destroyed by houses and commercial very soon!

I second that motion. I haven't even had a chance to run any good trails in the area.
