Why does the login screen have a checkmarked box that says "remember me" and it never remembers me? I have to login every time...what's up with that? The box always says username....Thanks, Karen

Do you have "cookies" turned off on your computer? The "Remember Me" works for me, I haven't had to log in for quite some time. I only have to log in when I delete all my cookies. Hope this helps!

The setting to delete cookies upon exit is going to be within your browser's settings/preferences. In order to direct you to the proper place we'd need to know which browser/version you are using.

In your IE browser menu bar, Click Help, then click About and it'll show you which version you're running. Likely v5.x or v6.x
Regardless, click on Tools, then Internet Options which will pop up an Internet Options window with various "tabs" across the top.
Select the "Privacy" tab and see what setting you're browser is set to. The lower the setting, the more information websites can gather about your system and sites you visit, etc. The higher the setting, the more privacy you maintain, but it can/will prevent certain sites from being displayed (some sites won't display if they can't put a 'cookie' on your system.
Some cookies are fine (like the one Joe uses for this BBS). Others are information gatherers which invade your privacy. You may have your privacy settings set high enough that it won't allow any cookies or deletes them when you shut down your browser. If your setting is Medium-High or above, try lowering it a notch. Then login to the BBS, close your browser, open it back up and see if you can access the BBS w/out logging in. You may need to play with your settings a bit to get it to work the way you want it to. Keep in mind you can delete cookies manually at any time and it's good practice to check/delete them periodically.

Yea, what Matt said. Your settings in your browser are what is causing your situation. (Sorry if that's poor grammer).
