View Full Version : Borrow 8 on 6.5 wheels/tires

I'm sticking this under tool sharing since it's only purpose is to roll the axle around under the Jeep, and I'll be returning them.

I'm in need of wheels/tires with a bolt pattern of 8 on 6.5 for up to a month. Howyapokin' offered up a set of his but I recently found out that the HVAC mixer door in my truck is completely broke so I now have zero air conditioning in the truck. Seeing as it's hot as hell again, I'd prefer to not drive 100 miles round trip to borrow his if I can help it.

Just need the crappiest of tires on the rims. The only perquisite is they're the same size. Will just be using them to set up the axles in the garage and they won't be driven on.

Whatdaya got? I'll be needing them as early as tomorrow evening so the sooner the better.

I too have a set of 4 (or 5 if needed)... Off a 2003, 2500 Dodge Ram... Unfortunately in Wickenburg... No immediate plans to be in the Valley this week, but if that changes before you find a set, will let you know...;)

Where are you located? I have a set off my 2006 dodge, i'm assuming they are 8 on 6.5.

I'm at Gilbert and Pecos. If it's a 3/4 or 1-ton dodge then it's 8 on 6.5. :)

I appreciate it. Looks like Ron's going to hook me up with some wheels/tires this evening. A buddy of mine tonight is going to make the trek to Andrew's with me to pick up my other parts (using his truck). I really need to get the A/C fixed.

I was looking forward to utilizing your tires... but I'm too much of a ***** to drive in this heat all the way there. It's tempting though... after all, I rather drive 50 miles in the heat in a Dodge without A/C than 1 mile in a Duramax with ice cold A/C. Since this trip is 100 miles though....
