This is a bit long, but well worth your time, I think. This is a flash movie.

I'd have to think about what I just saw but my initial reaction is, Well I have two, first is "And in a Perfect World" and the other is "I don't really believe this crap" but it has been a long hard day and I'll have to look at it again. Sorry, been on a rant all day and no one is immune!!

There's nothing to believe. It's a philosophy. You just either like it and aggree with it, or you don't.
Either way, I think it was a very good presentation...
And, believe me, I know what it's like to have a bad day! :D

I think it's obvious what it's all about.
Since this is the Legal/Political forum, doesn't politics beling here?

Well, OK, I'll bite. I actually saw the new GC with all the black panels all over it to hide it. Well, you can't hide that shape. It looked like a pregnant Liberty all right.
But my link had nothing to do with that. We're in the political forum, and if you've read what I've been going through, you might appreciate why I wanted to share the flash video. It hit me pretty hard...

I watched the whole thing this time (only watched the first couple minutes the first time) and I still think its wierd ... like some cheap propoganda video or something. I assume by what it is saying that we should not be in Iraq right now because "people should not give their leaders the right to impose their will on other countries"? or whatever it said to that effect.
Also a lot of the statements are made with no backup for them (i.e., authority) other than the author believes they are obvious truths.
I dunno, seems strange.

It comes from a site dedicated to preserving liberty. So far as I can tell, the only party they would be affiliated with is the Libertarians, which is OK by me. I've not previously been against them, and I guess I've never been for them.
I'm just searching for answers right now...
Don't forget, they are not making a statement; they are defining a "philosophy."
Once again, you can embrace it, reject it, or do more research.
I'm doing more research. - Kit
I forgot to respond to the Iraq comment. I don't believe this has anything to do with that since it's been around much longer. In fact, I would say they support it "you can get others to help you defend yourself." If, of course, that's what you believe.
So far, I believe the heart of this message, or, philosophy, is to not give into others to "control" your rights and interests, rather, take responsibility for yourself.
Like I said, I'm still researching...
