Yesturday "Aug 14th" my family and I went to Four Peaks to play in the mud on our toys, "didn't find much!!". It was a great day and I don't think the temp got over 90 the whole time we were there "clouds were too thick"!! WE left the house at 5:30am and were riding by 6:30, back home by 1PM.

On the way up the Beeline we passed a group of 5 or 6 Jeeps so here's your wave!!!

I will post a couple of pics later.

Not dead, just hiding from the heat!!!!! A reverse hibernation if you will. :D

I am sure this will get more action when the weather cools down a bit.

Ok cool, somebody decided to visit the tombstone. :D

Seriously though, I haven't done much riding this summer. I anxiously await the cooler months. We can plan a VJC quad ride sometime. That would be cool.

We love the dunes!! Only been to Glamis "Gecko road" once but it was a great time that has stuck with us!! We went before we had "toys" and borrowed when we wanted to go out riding, "I hated that" so that's why we started buying. Now everyone in tha family has one and we are dieing to get back out there!!!
We haven't been on a holiday weekend yet but from what I hear our group is planning to go to Gordon's well for Thanksgiving weekend.
I have been reading a ton of stuff about glamis on a BB called GD.com .
http://www.glamisdunes.com seems to have a very family oriented bunch of people that like to have get togethers, even during the off seaon!! Unfortunatly I haven't been able to attend any yet, but I keep trying!!

It was completely awsome to sit atop a huge dune and look out on the biggest sandbox in the world!!

The only thing I dont like about the dunes is the long drive there driving a motorhome pulling a fully loaded trailer. I like the dunes at glamis but the crowd there is to much party for me. The people at Buttercup are more family oriented but I dont like the dunes there on my quad, but its fun in my rail! Theres nothing like the feeling of runing a set of connected bowls at 60 mph :D ! Kinda like the high banks of Daytona Raceway. I cant wait till the time I can start going back there. Don
