I've been watching a lot of posts regarding Kerry etc on some of the Jeep forums and the concentration seems to be all on land issues. Don't get me wrong, these are of extreme importance, and the prime topic on a Jeep or OHV forum, but please don't forget, there are much larger issues at stake!! Like our Freakin country and our existance!! OK, I'm off my soapbox! FLAME ON !!
Yes, Vietnam Veteran, will provide documentation, no Purple Hearts or lies to cover up!
OK, now I'm really off my soap box!!

ahhhhh.... liberty. Freedom. Keeping our rights... it seems as if both Bush and Kerry are bent on removing our rights, perhaps Bush a bit less than Kerry... perhaps not.
I think I'm running for President and I'll write my own name in this year. That way my conscience won't bother me when Bush or Kerry sign laws which remove my freedoms.

I generally don't get involved in political conversation but,
how the heck do you know what Kerry wants or is going to do?
My points being he has flip-flopped on about everything and he rarely votes on anything in the senate. IMO he is extremely unstable and unpredictable, at least we know where Bush stands on things.

yup, and thats why I have dubbed him the wafflemaker. Every time he opens his mouth, another waffle pops out.
Basically, what he believes in and supports is whatever the press says people want no matter how he supported/condemned the issue in the past.

Wouldn't it be cool if we all got together and picked someone from the club (you're fine by me, Joe) and ACTUALLY did a write-in?
The chosen might actually get some news coverage because "there were 9999 (you pick a number) votes for a write-in in Arizona"...
For those of us who want neither candidate, this could be a humorous, but serious statement to the community.
:D :D :D

If we were going to do a write-in... I'd recommend we use:
Pat Paulson
Older folks will understand why. :D

Yea Joe, I guess you're right, when I mentioned Pat Paulson (sp?) in a previous thread, I was told I was showing my age.
