The War Wagon Monster Dodge4x4 Diesel - $15999 (Peoria)

The War Wagon For Sale

Talk about a famous 4x4, Soni Honneger's outrageous Dodge M880A1-C ended up on two Four Wheeler covers during the early '90s.four first Top Truck Challenge. The War Wagon is actually a heavily modified '76 Dodge Ramcharger with a 400Hp Cummins 5.9 liter Diesel sending juice to a super-built TorqueFlite 727 and NP 203. Power splits to a Dana 60 front axle and Corporate 14-bolt rear housing 4.56:1 gears and Detroits. This 8,520-pound (empty) beast rides on a custom-built frame and employs a custom leaf spring/airbag rear suspension that utilizes Lakewood ladder bars joined in the center of the chassis. Each bumper doubles as a lift and houses dual 12,000-pound winches. Many of the parts were scavenged from a (get this) Peterbilt 18-wheeler, including the steering box, tie rods, and interior. All the hardware contributes to the 54-inch fording depth, 60/50-degree approach and departure angles, 350-mile range and 3,480-pound payload.
42 inch Tires, Custom Dash with Custom Instrumentation, 4-wheel disk brake system, Registered and tagged an Arizona Dodge Ram

info : 623 313 8380

.It would take several pages to tell the whole story on this incredible rig, and like Soni's other ground-breaking invention, the Scorpion MK1, the War Wagon has gone down in history as one of the most innovative 4x4s ever built.

my understanding from the last few times it has been for sale/ traded hands is that quite a few items that were originally on it when Sonny built it are long gone now and that it needed quite a bit of work. Seems like about a year and a half ago a guy in Gilbert that had it, traded it for the rough-equivalent of $8500

not to say that it needs a lot of work now, just that its been passed around quite a bit on CL.
