Hi to all i'm new to jeeping. I have had other 4x4 in the past but not in AZ.
This is my first jeep. I live in Prescott are ther any trails that are in the area that a first time jeep owner can go on with out getting in to too much trouble?

One thing I usually recommend to new folks is to go and buy a couple of those trail books. They can come in handy. Give you lots of ideas for trails, are usually packed with hints and tips. Plus, they give a good descripition of the trais so you know what to expect before you get there. They usally have traisl listed all over the state. They rannge around 20/30 bucks
Most of the larger offroad shops carry them, or you can check them online somewhere. :)
Good luck,

The Az Lo-Rangers are running part of the Great Western Trail on Mingus Mountain, Sunday, August 22. This trail can be done in a stock 4x4. You are welcome to come along. This is a short trail and will probably take 3-4 hours to drive at a leisurely pace.
I am changiing my home email address. If you are interested, email me at p14175@motorola.com
