My '83 CJ-7 with the MPI kit pings like crazy on the highway. I've tried lots of things, and now I want to try retarding the timing with a DRB II computer. Earnhardt's won't do it, and Darner wants $140. I know I can send my ECM to Hesco and they'll reprogram it free, but the CJ is my DD and I'd like to avoid long shipping times. Any shops or dealers in the east valley that will do this relatively cheaply?
