Why can't we delete our old ads?

I am used to JU where you can delete the ads after the item is sold. I know that you will do it if told but it is much easier to just do it than to try to notify you of it being sold.

What I have done/ seen done is post a reply (large print) "Sold"
or use edit function to notify that item is sold

I am aware of that but thought that that is a hassle for the mods to have to read all the posts to see what to delete.

Fixed.

You should now be able to delete your own posts and threads anyplace in the for-sale/wanted area.

Will someone test it and let me know if it works.

I see edit and quote, but no delete. Is it hidden somewhere? I did an edit also to see if it were there.

Same thing here. I am logged in & can edit but I do not see a place to delete it.

jeep4offrd, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
