Hope I'm in the right forum!!
Just a quick problem I need some help with. I bought my Cherokee
last month and have had lots of problems with my wipers. If I start
my Jeep normal, they don't work. If I turn the key to on without
actually starting it then turn on the wipers, then start the Jeep;
the wipers work just fine. Weird I know, I've googled and have not
found anything online about it, thought maybe someone out there
might know of or had the same kinda problem.

Did you change your screen name from "CherokeeKing"??? Anyway, I would first check the Ignition switch Connection at the column. Then I would make sure that none of the wires in your MFS are crossed or pinched. I do believe the 97+ XJ's had an issue with this... You didnt say what year your XJ was, So I am assuming that it is a 97+ due to the fact that the older ones use a GM column and the wires are ALOT less prone to cross when they are in a "ribbon"
Good Luck

Nope didn't change my screen name...I'm just new here. Actually, I have a '94. I was wondering if it might be pinched wires, I will have to check that out.
