View Full Version : 2007 CBR 1000RR --- It's not a Jeep but....

Ok so a good friend mine's CBR got stolen last night.

The people cut the pad lock on the gate, moved the stuff blocking the gate and stole the bike.

It got stolen from Southern and Horne (between Mesa and Country Club).

It is a 2006 CBR 1000RR Red and Black. The license plate is VGTA. Keep an eye out for it in 3 to 5 weeks. Usually when bikes get stolen they are ridden late at night, really fast on the freeway. SO if you see a Red/Black CBR 1000 with out a plate or it looks like it's stolen (has a smashed ignition) please call your local police department. If they need a name for the person who filed the report, the name is Matthew Blair. It has a Micron exhaust and it has Halo stickers on the tank (not that you'll be able to see them if they're riding it).

I know it's not a Jeep but I have posted on my MC forum and I am trying to get the word out.

Usually they wind up in the desert or in a canal so if you see someone riding a street bike off road, be suspicious.

My number is 480 688 2281 if you see it and call the police or just see it, give me a text or ring.

Keep an eye out for people parting out bikes as well

Yeah, it sucks. We're thinking it was one of his neighbors. He lives on Southern and Horne. We're watching Craigslist for bikes like his. If you guys see it in the bed of a truck, or on a trailer or someone riding it, please please please call 911. He only had liability and now, his bike is gone (hopefully not forever). I really appreciate everyone who has viewed this thread. I hope we can find it. He's a veteran of Operation Iraqi freedom and was stuck (non stop) in Iraq for 18 months. This is some messed up crap. I'd really love to find the people who did this. Oh the things I'd do to them. I'd start by removing hands so they can never steal again.

Don't forget to monitor ebay. Lots of stolen bikes get parted out there, too.
