View Full Version : stolen yj

My wife's red '94 jeep yj was stolen from the Village Inn parking lot in Apache Junction, Sunday February 7, somewhere between 11:00 and 12:20. It was our family vehicle, I also have a YJ but it has no back seat so we have no way to get around. We are a jeeping family, my wife wanted to get in on the whole thing so I got her, her own Jeep and had Just put on new Mickey Thompson MTZ Radials 33/12.50/15 on black Crager rims. I was trying to build it up nice for my wife and then we were gonna keep it for our daughter, because she really wants a jeep of her own when she can drive.

It was not in the best looking condition the hood and the driver side fender paint is kinda messed up. It had the black flat fender flares, the black top was missing a zipper in the back and it need to be screwed down. It has got red half hard doors the windows weren't in at the time. The tailgate has a welding mark about center on top of it, there is hitch with a 2" ball and a small hoop on the front bumper.

The plates on it are AJP3030.

Thank you to those that keep an eye out for it because again it is our family vehicle and some day would go to our daughter.

If you do see it or the tires or hear anything please contact me at 520-582-6205 or my wife Becky at 480-227-4122.

Thank you again!

x2 on the pics. I'll be watching although I'm on the other side of the valley and it's probably not headed this way.
Good luck!

Keeping my eyes open as well. Sorry this happened and it bothers me that someone did it in broad daylight from a large, seemingly safe lot while you were having lunch. I hope it comes back to you.

it bothers me that someone did it in broad daylight from a large, seemingly safe lot while you were having lunch.

That was my thought also. That is a very busy parking lot/shopping center.

I'll keep an eye out also.
