That's a good price? You can get a color matched flat bed with dual 5,200lb axles with brakes on both for that much $$. Yes, that's comparing apples to oranges but I'm mainly thinking about it from a cost of materials standpoint.

Ha, yeah I was in the market for one but decided to build my own. I hopefully will have a prototype built in the next 60 days.

Yeah $1500 is below market for a restored trailer, its worth at least $2500-3000

Yeah it's way below.. every year at the military show i see those trailers going for $1000 in beat up need restoration condition.

The thing is none of what you're saying is comparable is what we're looking at in the Craigslist ad. There's no refrigerator, tent, etc in there. It's a basic trailer. I could see a premium for a "military" trailer, but not the same premium for a knock off even if the knock off is better.

Completely understand as I posted what base prices are on custom trailers. I know my loaded trailer will likely end up after around $4500 Vs what the options are available to me.
