So, I visited the folks at The Prospector Mall in Crown King this weekend, and theyre a great bunch of people.

They informed me they have a webcam setup to see their cute lil shop and into the street of Crown King which is nice, so we can see how much snow theyre getting and other weather conditions.

You can view it here: http://www.gregors.com/index.html

Next time in CK, dont forget to visit Greg and Aimee! http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/images/smilies/Character%20Smiles/wavey.gif

Also, check out Crown King's events here: http://www.gregors.com/Events/events.html

Yeah, seems there might be some errors, because once I click the login button after username and password, I pretty much have to do nothing on my computer until it loads, but once it does, its a decent view into the street of CK. As of Tuesday morning, looked like a foot of fresh powder.

Do they even have power in CK right now to be running this thing?

I wonder if the picture was updated.

I got there wednesday night at 9pm and there wasnt any significant snow on the ground.
Didnt see any snow downtown. (Bar)

There was about 7 inches of wet snow that fell Late Wednesday night and then the snow turned to rain around 6am.

When I left Thursday afternoon the snow was mostly slush. but still about 4 inches on the ground and just shy of 4 inches of rain at that time. CK ended up with 7+ inches of rain overall, but it was steady rain.

Electricity didnt go out while I was there.

Sometimes the image works for me and sometimes it doesnt load. Weird.

I was able to view it for about 2 seconds before my computer did an auto reboot.

Looked like they got hit pretty hard.

I think that's a very common statement when asked, "So how was your trip to CK?" :D
