Well I have had the stock TJ for 2 months now and I am looking to do something somewhat moderate for this weekend. I have read all the trails on the azvjc website trails for a couple of months now and I also have the Az Backroads 4wheel drive trails book and I have decided to the Wickenburg Mountains run. I was gonna do the Pleasent to CK trail but after researching this it seems like this would not be a good idea for my first trail.

Anyways would the Wickenburg trail be good for a first timer? I am planning on doing the Jeep 101 class on the 22nd, but I need to get out before then!!!

I am also wondering if anyone would be interested in joining me on Saturday.

I live in Phoenix so geographically this works for me.

Thanks for your replies....Mike

Mike,

I have done the Pleasant to Crown King run in my still stock TJ.
It's a fairly nice trail and it does have several bypasses.

There might be one or maybe two ledges that might be a little tough.

Thx, Shana ~j33pgurl~ :)

This trail is called "the Mini Moab" for the slick rock parts and also is named after a geological feature that is near there.
