Lots of snow and ice in the canyon--a few buddies tried to get up there about 4 days ago and said they were "blocked" by snow at the beginning of the canyon, and it only gets worse from there. Of course, "blocked" is subjective; and it was 4 days ago, so possible that it's melted down enough to get through, though those rocks are extra fun when you can't stick to them! :D
