Hello All,Rich Evans is leading a FR-42 trail run on Friday, April 23,
2004.

When: Friday 4/23/04 meet between 1PM & 1:15PM, leave at 1:30PM
Where: Meet at the Pay station for Bartlett lake
Rating: 3.0+
Length: A few hours
CB Channel: 4

Sorry for the short notice, this is a last minute trip to take some visitors
from the north east on a scenic trail and I would rather not go alone. Looking
for at least a couple of Jeeps to go along.

Thanks to anyone who can make it.

Sandy, dirt trail with lots of mogals, hill climbs, and some river crossings.
Expect some fender damage if your not lifted. Recommend at least one locker,
sway disconnects and high clearance. Stock vehicles can do this run but may need
help on certain parts.

Hello Everybody

I don't know how many members we have but I know it is a lot. There must be somebody who is off Fri afternoon that wants to go wheeling on FR42, retired guys, new members, late shift, anybody.

This trail does not require a locker as mentioned in the standard description, but clearence and discos are a big plus. The weather will be perfect so lets get out there.

My wife is not going, it's just four guys - three old farts and a 14 yr old that just wants to get out. I just get a bad feeling about going alone although I have done it many times, I know it is not good judgement.

Get your name on the list or just e-mail me at katvans@direcway.com

Thanks

Rich

I'm off and only done FR42 once, I may just drag myself out there. I dont have my CB any more, but if i go I'll just show up at paystation. Dont wait because I cant promise I'll be there. I have a silverish ZJ with 3.5" lift and 32's.

Rich,
Its 2 and I just noticed your post. I would have brought the dogs out for a swim and would of liked to have had a little fun. Maybe next time.

Hi all

I want to thank Mike Tarver and John DeRuiter for not only stepping up to help me out on this run but also for each taking a passenger and showing these Eastern visitors a good time in the Arizona desert. With two old guys stuffed in the back of my jeep, I don't think we would have made it very long.

Both Mike and John have led me on runs before and this was my first time to lead a run. They were very helpful at the river crossings which were high and swift, they said go ahead and if you make it we will also cross. Actually they said they would pull me out if I got stuck.

Thanks again guys, I'll send the addy for pics when I post them.

Rich
