My non-Jeep vehicle needs some transmission work and I've almost decided not to go with Cottman due to all the negative comments I've found online so far. Does anyone have a good transmission shop on the east side to recommend?

Check out Tri-City in Tempe (just south of 101 on McClintock).

I'll second Tri City... They did me right on my XJ a couple of months back and I posted the whole story here, check the archives....I would trust them with any vehicle... Bob J

Unfortunately my search of the archives here and at the Yahoo message board didn't yield any results for "tri city". I think I'll give them a call anyway though.

I second, make that third. Tri-City Transmission. They have always done a good job for me and have even saved me some money when they could have preformed work that was not necessary (that I asked for out of ignorance).
