ok, since the front axle on my 3B is shot, and since I was planning to do a swap anyways.....im looking for a few sugestions on different axles to swap in....give me some ideas and pro's and con's of some of the common axles sold on craigslist and in the wrecking yards....and please keep it low budget.

yeah....no doubt...this rig is low budget.....the next will get the money.
Wait...shouldn't you still be working? I know swings can't be home already.

Get a Dana 30 out of a 72-82 CJ. 72-76 drum will be a easy swap. 77-82 disk will require more parts.:)

I have plans for YJ springs and some chassis work in the future......if I can ever find a set of springs on the cheap side...haha. And I have a good welder...I can cut and most the spring pads anywhere they need to go.

What is anyones oppinion of the scout D44's? I found a set for $200 but don't want something thats going to need a bunch of parts thrown at it to survive.
