I want to learn how to do more on my Jeep and one thing I've never done is replace my brakes. It can't be that hard but there seem to be a few key items that have to be just right...like brake bleeding. So two questions:
1) Since I would likely be doing this on my own one day, are these one man brake bleed kits any good?

2) Is there any interest in having a brake change clinic one Saturday morning so several of us can learn how to do it at the same time? I'd volunteer my house and some drinks if someone would come over and offer their expertise to those of us who want to learn.

:) I would be willing to lend a hand to anyone that is in need. I'm in the east valley Mesa (crismon and broadway). I'm pretty much in the garage every weekeknd working on my TJ or my buddies XJ or Harleys. Let me know dont be afraid to call. Got a three car garage and lots of tools to do pretty much anything except gears and rebuilding trannies....I have done all my mods like hand throttle and york air compressor install and so on. Also my son who is one and a half loves to do work with me also. :D .... You get my info from azvj main page under my name Jon Snowden,

Phoenix injector, hands down. I did a clinic several yrs ago and got members bleeders at cost. Time is difficult to come by these days, but with enough interest, maybe we could do a brake clinic at my place.

That would be great, thanks for all the offers. I'll post a "technical clinic" run in a few days and throw out a future date and see what sticks.

Tom that would be great if you had enough intrest to do it again. I bought one of the bleeders but the clinic was on my work day & I missed it. So I have one but do not know how to use it.:(
