Locker Question

Good morning,
I have recently acquired a Powertrax locker for my front Dana 30 but I need to know if it will work. I have heard 2 different explanations. Here is the background: 2001 TJ, THe front drive shaft spins constantly. So, since this is a full time locker will I have any problems with street driving since outside wheel turns faster that inside wheel does in a turn? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

If you have the 231 transfer case with part-time 4x4; you'll be just fine. I run the same thing in my 30. Street driving is unaffected in 2 wheel drive.

You willl be ok running that locker. I ran one of those until I got ox's for the front and rear. I liked it and it worked well, just got done putting my old locker in my buddies xj up front and he enjoys it. let me know if you have any questions or need help with the install. :cool:
