I'm looking for an honest shop to take the wife's car (ZJ) to for service and to fix a rear seal oil leak. Any info on a shop in the east valley (prefereaby south of the 60) greatly appreciated.
I've heard good things about Intech but have no idea where they are and would prefer not to take the car clear across town.
TIA

make sure it is the rear main
what was diagnosied by multiple mechanics as a rear main leak on mine turned out to be the oil pressure sending unit (hidden on back of intake manifold really close to firewall)
take your hand and feel around back of manifold (is just a little to passenger's side) and feel for leaks
rear mains on those are extra pain as exhaust system mus be disassembled

Please let us know who you end up going with and how it went for future reference.

I know this is kind of late but, I have had good service from Shuman's Auto Clinc. They are at Rio Salado & Price.
I hate giving out names of mechanics, next thing you know something bad will happen and your on the hook.
The owner at Shuman's seems more than willing to make his customers happy.

Thanks for al the replies. Not too late, James as I've yet to schedule the work. I do plan on gunking the engine and driving it a bit to see if I can tell if the lieak is higher than the rear main seal and leaking down and dripping from there. I know valve cover leaks in the back can look similar. I'll check the oil pressure sending unit as well (thanks Olney).
If it is a main seal (or something that I can't do and requires I take it in), I'll post results (pro or con) for future reference.
